Inbound links are an important component of Google’s Page Rank system, which is a way to order the sites returned from a search. drive traffic inbound links come from: Sites that publish content that is complementary and related to the content on your site. Community site for a particular interest group example, http://www.slashdot.org can drive huge amounts of traffic to sites related to technology.
Comments, Track backs, and Discussion Threads A way to get inbound links is to post them yourself, using a blog comment, a blog track back, or a discussion thread.
