5 Things Bloggers Always Forget To Do
Just last week, i received a mail from my one of my reader that i made a grammar mistake on one of my post. My first thought on my mind was to first, thank him for spotting that mistake and next to analysis how it happen and why i was not aware when i first blogged about it.

Bloggers tends to rush to meet their expected time of delivery and thus making such mistakes are inevitable, today we look into the 5 things bloggers always forget to do before they publish their post.

1. Proofread.
Speling mistkes and sentences that do make not sense. Confusing huh? Confusions with its and it’s, your and you’re, and their and they’re are also very common so you should take the time to learn the differences and next time you finish writing an article, remember to proofread it.

2. Backup.
Backup your WordPress and your files regularly! There are many plugins out there that can do this automatically for you.

3. Link to older posts.
Linking back to older posts will increase your traffic and search engine rankings. It also provides readers with more information and encourages them to browse your site. Use your old articles!

4. Check the spam folder.
Check these folders once in a while to make sure people are not getting ignored. The spam protectors are not perfect!

5. Update WordPress plugins.
Not all plugins are compatible with all WordPress versions so it is best you update your plugins and ensure that they are working. If you don't, you are putting yourself at risk to bugs and security issues.

Checking the spam folder is one of the most important things to do. I try to check every day as I usually have at least a comment or two that was incorrectly filtered ;)

I have always tried removing all my spam away from my mail.

Etienne I am probably guilty of them all but I do try to do better every day.

I have been terrible at backing up my blogs. Today I will backup all my blogs.

One thing that I have been doing a better job at is linking to my older posts. It really does make a difference.

As for the spam folder. I have check it over and over but I have not really found usable comments, but I will keep checking because I know it's going to happen.
