Bloggers who tends to think posting a short paragraph of colorful words and also writing about just what had happened over the day would bring in revenue to their blog, it come be a fatal mistake which come stop them from updating their post again. I could understand why he felt despaired and to quit blogging seems like his next move and securing a 9-5pm job seems fated.

I had a short discussion with Graham and created mindmaps which he intend to portrait to his readers on his blog. I even brainstorm with him on keywords that could help him rank well on Google Search Engine. We came up with some prototype ideas which could be enforced in his Technology blog which only brings in 10 Unique Visitor daily. After another optimized update on his blog and rendering many other easy to use tips, his 10 visitors increased 10 times to 100 Uniques Daily, while the result shown above do not give the Wow! factor, but it shows that with a little optimization, it could easily help increase your range of visitors.

In order to keep a good looking journal with a health range of visitors, these are the steps which you could take to optimize your blog.

1. Create Organic Search Traffic
   Before posting, do keyword research and then change the “slug” for your post to include a combination of the keywords you have found. For instance, if you write a post for a LogiTech Infra-Mouse, simply perform keyword research on the term “Infra-mouse” you will probably find variations like “LogiTech A302 Infra-Mouse”. This is great, but don’t stop there. Try to find common misspellings. For instance Logitech is commonly misspelled as Logotech.

   Use the Google XML Sitemaps plugin for Wordpress. All you have to do is manually build your sitemap first and then it updates it automatically when something changes. It’s one of the best. No, this won’t have the visitors knocking down your door but it lets Google and Yahoo know where to look to index your pages. And if the bots don’t have to go searching then it will make your life much easier and you will get indexed faster.
   
   
3. Write Interesting contents Which Delivers
   Delivering a post on a new product in hard news format provides many backlinks which could be used by secondary bloggers who could well direct a health lot of traffic to your blog since they have given you credits for being the "source" of this product.
   
   
4. Stuffing Keywords In your Post
   It is always recommended that you do not stuff more than 7 keywords of the same in one paragraph as it will sound artificial and readers will not be interested in what you write even when you have something to bring across to your readers in your post.

   A pictures speaks a thousand words and with visual notes in your article, it could also help readers divert their attention before reading the next portion of your contents.
   

There are several other ways that you can use to increase your traffic flow to your blog, but the most important thing is to continue finding new ways to increase your traffic instead of quitting blogging, make sure you keep a high quality blog and you will be on the right track in moving forward with more readers over time.
