Olympian Michael Phelps Gives Two Golden Tips

Michael PhelpsMichael Phelps went a perfect 8-for-8 in Beijing, breaking Mark Spitz's single-Games record for gold medals. He swam 17 times over nine days and broke the world record in four of his five individual swims. His three relay teams also set world marks.

At first glance, Phelps might look like a typical swimmer. But several of his physical characteristics seem genetically tailored for swimming and that includes a decade of high-intensity training, and you get one of the fastest swimmers in history.

Have Fun Blogging
"I think of it as something I love to do, and I'm just having fun with it." One of Phelps winning strategy in his chase towards his 8 gold medals was to pursue the dream and goal he had set for himself. If you blog with love and passion towards what you are delivering on your site, things will flow according and it will not take you long to see the results you have set for yourself.

No Pain No Gain
"Growing up in high school, I wasn't hanging out with friends every day or on the weekends. Doing normal high school kid things was something I was willing to give up. I know I won't have opportunities like this in the sport for the rest of my life, so I should take advantage of them while I can." Phelps pursued his dreams to become an Olympian, in order to excel in his field, he was willing to give up his time with friends and spent most of his time training which he felt was a right decision made. Many bloggers might have mistaken how JohnChow, Problogger, ZacJohnson and others rise to where they are now. They have put in time and effort to excel in their own field and it could be transparent in the eyes of all their readers, how much they have to sacrifice to reach their peak.

Throw yourself these questions, Why are you blogging?, What's in for me blogging?, Where do i see myself in this field?, Who can follow my footsteps one day? and How can all these be done? A blogging Plan will help you answer all these questions. If any answer is because you will want to become a celebrity blogger overnight, make enough money to retire or blog anything under the sky without knowing where you are heading then this field might not be what you love to do but something you want to do to get returns.

"No Pain No Gain" I agree. I train hard and often I have to say no to many things and I have to recover from a lot of pain.
