June was one of those month where i am hit with many offline projects with schools and i do not have the capacity to continue blogging over the week. Somehow today my work was offloaded by my working staff and i could give a quick recap of my post during May and June. I am glad that a positive group of readers are still enjoying my blog and concern over my status as i go missing in action but rest assure I am not "missing" if not I would have used Twitter to get help from you guys.

The speedlinking for this week comes from many new faces(blogger) who have written excellent articles that i thought i should share with my readers. Ironically, i was about to do comparison between my recent drop in Alexa by 50%, from 63,000 to 117,000 recently. The graph continuous see a downtrend while my visitor traffic continues to climb, i am not sure what happen but the drop was drastic though it did not affect me, since we all know Alexa's traffic ranking is always beyond accurate, I think Andy have made his point clear on his post.
Blogging Experiment wrote on the secrets you can do to triple your current adsense income by contacting adwords advertiser directly and ask them to directly advertise on your blog. I have been using that as an experiment for a couple of my blogs and it had proven to be successful most of the time, competitive prices for the advertisers and compelling results will surely attract more advertisers.

How Will Old Methods Of Gaining Pagerank Work in the Year 2008?
I was part of the Link Meme Bloggers List in the early 2007 and the experiment lasted for a good 6 months before everyone went silent, since no authority bloggers dare to take up this challenge and everyone seems binded to the pagerank they have right now and afraid of being slapped again by google for link spamming.
The reason why Link Meme did not work out too well is because it looked more like a link farm(spam post) rather than a post with great content to read on, in order to get the results we all want to achieve, leaving a short review or leaving a link in a sentence will seem more appropriate and relevant than just multiple links with no contents that i can associate with.
Why i intend to revive my Pagerank Review in 2008
Once again this is an experiment which i am willing to try and gain some stats on whether bloggers are still willing to linkback to a blog which holds a pagerank 4. A linkback from this blog will help increase your Google page rank, your Technorati rank, your search engine rankings and it will drive some traffic your way too.
How do i Get a LinkBack?

With another week and a half to go before John's Rss Reader war against Shoe is over, the evil darth vadar unleashes his JohnChow ToolBar made for his dedicated servants to use and pledge their loyalty to him, HAHA! There seems to be a major jump in Rss Readers over the 2 days which i noticed and now with 11735 Readers, i don't see why John could not wear the shoe for the month of October!
Chris Garett wrote a post on 10 steps for beginner bloggers to start with, and why his steps are different and could well alter your course as a blogger by reading other experienced bloggers who have been on the same niche that you want to start now and it is time that you subscribe to their Rss Reader or read their blog daily and that will be your first step to becoming successful.
Dailyblogtips is really a gem, it came at the right time for me to do a speedlink on his article regarding how you should spend time creating a logo that display your full url. Most of the people online do not read the url on the browser first, but the logo will be what they will capture first, Daniel Scocco had some great screenshot examples.
