SlashMySearch is Dead

I have heard many successful stories of people making money online with search engines like slashmysearch dot com. Easy payments were made and proofs of payment via Egold, paypal and other payable forms by SMS.

I was curious as how good this pay per search program was, so i registered with no doubts about this search and this is what i have to say about this PPS program that is been offered, If you are using it now give it up and source for another one, and if you have yet to register for one, please don't waste your time on it.

How you earn money with this PPS
It is simple, you just have to search through their search engine database and they will track your searches through a unique id that they give you which you need to use whenever you search with SMS. Like mine http://www.slashmysearch.com/earn/id/50606 if you use this link to search on your computer then i will earn money. The more searches the more i earn, SMS recommends users to turn this link into their homepage search engine.

This program does earn but..
I did not say this program don't give you returns but after surfing for 2 weeks on my computer i realise a few things that everyone should know about.

This program here seems to undergo a third party software which in turn could be a spyware or another client.
This search engine is just too slow, compared to google and yahoo or msn, it took a search around 2-3 seconds before i could get a list, it seems to be leeching database from else where.
The searches at times are not relevant, this is very true, i have an example that you guys should see, look at the search on "Google" and the results?
They use search database from miva, ads.yield, rmxads, revenuepilot and searchfeed most of them are PayPerClick and ads popup companies.

Do you feel being used?
Measure the earning made and see whether is it worth earning that little for a crappy search engine which gives non relevant searches and slows down your searches which you would not want.Look at my earning for 2 weeks, of course the more i search, the more i get, but that what a normal person will surf on average, are you going to surf 10000 websites a day? Making $0.26 in 2 weeks, come on, even my Adsense makes $1 in 2 weeks!

I do not recommend ~~slashmysearch dot com~~ if you are looking for a search and earn scheme with this PPS program. You may want to try Mylot which is established and has a better search relvance or if you are into a charity cause the use good search which is also powered by Yahoo search!

Crystal says July 28, 2007 3:24 PM: I didn't know search engines like that existed. They have one on inbox dollars where you get 2 cents a search, but you can only do 2 a day, so it's not even worth it.

They are a BIG SCAM

I requested payment and they just label my request as PAID but in actual fact they did not pay.
