One thing I've found to be great for keeping me posting at my blogs is the "Flock" web browser. Its based on Firefox but built for social networks and activities. It has a built in blogging tool, integration with Delicious, Magnolia, etc. Its great for working on the web and its got all the advantages of Firefox. Worth a look.
