A 5 minute Lesson We Gained from using BlogRush

4 Days after Blogrush was introduction to tens of thousand users, everyone was confident that blogrush will change the way their traffic flows, but it was a disappointment which comes with a priceless lesson that John Reese had reminded us.

Blogrush brought me 2,000 over traffic in the past 4 days but only received 2 miserable clicks which was a major disappointment. In my mind, content was the first factor, and i could have written an article that was poorly presented which had caused such results, because with 1,000 times being published on the widget, i don't believe only 2 clicks were made.

I wanted to confirm my results so i checked on John Chow blogrush stats and Problogger query on how you are doing on with Blogrush? An interesting result posted by John announcing he had 445 referrals which on a daily basis he is receiving average of 27,293 Traffic to widgets across the world and only 91 clicks. Problogger had his results flashed as well, he had 70,000 traffic but only 35 clicks on them. On average that is a low Click Through Rate of 0.05% for the both of them. I believe most of the bloggers are suffering from such stats and I don't believe this will get any better.

Ain't BlogRush suppose to help us gain more traffic?
Blogrush a is great tool founded by John Reese, when John Reese released this widget, he stressed on 1 factor which everyone did not look into which was their Headline. The widget does help you sell your article and blog to the crowd. A matter of how you are going to attract the crowd.

Content is no factor with BlogRush
Since there is no content text described on the widget, 100% focus should come from your Headline, while this being said, your content will come secondary after a visitor clicks on your headline which should led him to your well written article. So without a click from blogrush, your article will never be presented to the visitor.

Write me a good headline and i will visit you
A good headline can come in many forms and the most commonly found would be the use of "The, How and numeric numbers". Your start would tell your visitors what they can expect to read. Interestingly the brain will thus be attracted to such curiosity words which leads clicks on your article.
