Google Adsense Cuts Down On Loop-Holes And Tighten Their Click Strategies

Just few days back, Google Adsense Team announced yet another method of optimizing your ads which fails the policy guideline, those who think they can outsmart Google have to rethink on their next strategy. The reason behind the changes are quite clear, Google do not want users to be misled by the advertisements and strict implementation creates a better users/advertiser experiences in all.

Over the past months, there have been many optimization tips released by Google Adsense Team to show us the do and don't which i have learned and created a post on 22 mistakes that could violate Google Adsense. These are the two new guidelines which the Adsense Team would like us to follow and do changes if you have used placements methods like these.

Ads shouldn't be placed under a title or section heading in a way that implies that the ads are not ads. I am sure there are tons of sites that are using the current violated method that Google Have said "NO" too in their guideline and experiences tells me very soon, Google will place ban on sites that creates a wrong impression to the users that the ads are part of the content.

Ads should be easily distinguishable from surrounding content. Blending your ads the right way might not be an option in this situation now that adsense have given guidelines on ensuring your ads should be apart from your contents and users should see it as an advertisement rather than ads that are blended to look like part of the content post.

This was what the team had to say regarding the two new optimization tips:

"As you can imagine, users who click on ads that they think are publisher-created content may lose trust in your site and decide not to return in the future. It's important to keep their interests in mind, as well as your own. Also, advertisers can tell which sites have a high conversion rate for them using Placement Performance reports. A conversion occurs when a click on an ad leads directly to user behavior that the advertiser deems valuable, such as a purchase, sign-up, page view, or lead. Advertisers have the option to exclude your site from their campaigns and may do so if it is not leading to conversions. We believe these guidelines invest in the long-term health of the relationship between AdSense publishers, AdWords advertisers, and your sites' visitors, and that they will help ensure your continued success in the AdSense program."

I am not sure whether i would want to agree with what the team have in mind. Blending ads into the content should not be classified as a violation to the guideline and i am sure the advertisers will be happy to see more clicks that can be converted into leads and income, if no click arise from the users then where will the income come from to the advertisers?

My ads have at least a 4cm length away from my content and violating the guideline would be out of the question but i can tell you frankly, it does not convert a better click-rate for me as a publisher as compared to using ads placed below the title of your post. Will you be changing your ads placement after hearing this piece of news, do you think Adsense will ban your account if you continue sticking with the placement which violates the guideline?

Do You Get Sick Of Adsense Highest Paying Keyword?

It was showering cats and dogs over at Singapore, the monsoon season sets in and there will be nothing but rain, i am prepared to stay at home, chatting online, complete concentrate on my reviews and also completing my 2nd season series of 'Heroes'. Over the past 4 days i have been ordering fast food and it was Macdonald's Lunch & Dinner.

I know that it is bad for health but do i get sick of the food? Recalling back to my Sept 2007 release of 600 top paying keywords, i leaked out tips on how you can further modify your contents to fit the ads that are going to be shown on your website/blog. I also touched on 22 mistakes that you could make over time of testing your ads and what are the do and don't you should follow. The best way to get yourself on the safe boat is to use tools to prevent yourself from clicking on your own ads which violates the act in the policy of adsense.

The list that i am showing you contains keywords that have been marked in alphabetic orders which you can sort them out through Maximum Cost-Per-Click & Average Cost-Per-Click. Will you get sick of trying all these keywords? I am sure not, because you want to optimize your own website/blog to unleash it's fullest potential predicting the keywords that will show up even if it is not the highest keyword.

Try is better than wait
I have a friend who thinks blogging is a waste of time and mind you, he is talented in both graphics and web template. His mind is fixed on just working for a stable company drawing a comfortable monthly salary. I am the opposite of him, i ventured and tried which is why i am not complaining about work while he does each time we meet up, he still continues to wait for a large hammer that could hit some sense into him, while i continue to try and persuade him, he waits for the right moment.

To me there is no right moment, you just need to try and see the results for yourself, if it works then good for you. If it does not work, then try other fields. There is bound to be something out there for you.

With the list of Potential keywords awaiting for you to explore and try, why not work out a list of high paying keywords which could potentially create a larger income through your adsense instead of earning that $0.01 per click which i know all of us hate.

Optimize Your Income Using Google Adsense Banner Like Ads

This is one simple trick that i have been seeing by many Google Adsense publisher and it seems to be working effectively on many sites, will it work for your site with this trick and is this going against the TOS of Adsense which i have covered earlier, Let's analysis deep into how we can make more money optimizing what might have been a loop hole from Google.

Recently Google did a review on their TOS and one of it's lines were on images placed on the left of the ads which could distract users to click on the links and that is against the TOS, since the users will have to click on the link base on his interest on the topic and relevance.

Upon adding a new ad for my new blog, i realise i am able to use this as a form of advertisement which i can use on my blog. Once i got it going i am making an extra 20% more from my current Adsense Income, it works on a number of reasons which i thought about and you can give me comments on your own opinions if you think that is the reason it works.

• Users click on Sponsors that are 125x125 banner
• Users are interested in the text that is stated in the banner
• The banner is placed above the fold and it is more like a banner than an ad service from Google

Moreover i was just doing an experiment on my new blog since i got nothing to lose and this proves to be more effectively than what i have on a 336x280 rectangle which was rated as the best ad placement Google had to offer. Just to show you what i mean, i was earning an extra $3.00 just by adding that 125x125 banner. It was only yesterday that i tried and it was a good increase which my demographic is only targeted towards the Singaporeans on my new blog.

Creating Your desired 125x125 Text Banner
A simple tutorial guide that screenshots the exact steps are next that you can follow and do a trial on your own blog, result varies and it will work only if your blog receives a reasonable amount of traffic and how demographic your contents are to the users.

Start up an account with Google Adsense and under "Adsense Setup", Click on Adsense for content.

Tick on the "Ad Unit" Box and continue to the next page. In the next page under "Format", search for "125x125 button".

Under "Colors", you are able to design your own color banner that you would want, make sure the border and background is of the same color.

Under "Corner Style", Make changes to your button to be very rounded corners. Once it is done it should look like what is on the screenshot shown.

Once this is done, retrieve the code and put it into your sponsors column above the fold in order for the ads to be shown without scrolling. Look at my blog's right hand sponsors which have been my loyal sponsors for months and i would like to take this opportunity to thank them! Is this against the TOS?
I am sure it is not, since i have read the whole TOS in the new review, it does not state that it does not allow you to put it under a 125x125 button format on the sidebar and it is a format under Google and all the more it should not get you banned from using it. Google Adsense Referral Revenue Retires

Google Adsense was one of my main income which is still driving me hundreds monthly and i do not deny that their referral program was driving in money and over the past 8 months of using the referral link, Google have finally retired this revenue program for their publisher.

If you are a Google Adsense Publisher, this is the email message that you should have received over night and that effectively end January, all referral links will not be converted into earnings and should be removed cause there is no revenue income for you.

Though, This could be a loss to some of us who could have been making a 10% revenue through Referrals but it's time to let this referral program go and look forward to other referral sources that Google Adsense offer which are attractive.

This was the email i received and i have it copied for my readers to read if you have not decided to join Adsense or did not receive this mail from Google.


"Hello,

We are writing to share some important information with you about
referrals to the AdSense product. As part of ongoing efforts to
optimize revenue opportunities for our publishers, we're
constantly experimenting with new revenue-enhancing features as
well as tweaking those products already available to our
publishers. This is the case for referral units directing visitors
to sign up for AdSense. After experimenting with this program
over the past year, we've concluded that there are other products
that are of higher value than this program to publishers in your
region. As a result, referral units for the AdSense program will
be retired in the coming weeks. Referrals to other products and
services remain unaffected.

If you're currently displaying referral units on your site
directing users to sign up for AdSense, read on below for details
about what to expect in the coming weeks.

In early January, the option to add referral units directing users
to the AdSense product will no longer appear in your account. You
will continue to accrue earnings for all existing referrals yet to
generate $100 until late January, at which point the program will
be fully retired. Existing referral units will continue to appear
on your pages.

By the end of January, you should remove all referral units
directing users to AdSense from your pages. Referral units
that you do not remove will continue to be displayed on your pages
as normal, but conversions will no longer be recorded. We
suggest you replace the AdSense referrals with referrals to
another product or service or an additional ad unit.

How to Prevent Google From Suspending Your Adsense Account

Applying for an adsense account might take you days to get approval but it requires only a fraction of a second to get you kicked out of their program if you go against their TOS. Preventing your account from being suspended takes more than just effort but discipline in what you are doing. Frankly speaking i have learned my lesson when i first applied for an adsense program and got kicked out even before using it on my blog.

It all started when i needed to "test" my ads after learning a few optimization tricks to blend relevant high paying keywords into my blog. After testing the click i made, i went on to see how much i could be earning with every one click, not bad $1.54 per click! That $1.54 never came and i got slapped by Google right after the click was made and an email from Google states that they have found out that i have violated their TOS and they will have to suspend my account and payout.

I reapplied almost 1 year later and was lucky to be approved for the second time and this time around i was smart enough to use scripts that allow me to hide ads away from my own blog, so that i will avoid clicking on my own ads.

Why Owners click on their own ads?
There are 101 reasons for an owner to click on their own ads and 1 of the very common reason or mistakes made is when they are tweaking their own blog layout. Accidental click happens when you are optimizing or tweaking your layout because it requires refreshing every moment, you might end up clicking on your own ads and that is when you got to think what you can do to let Google handle that click which might be suspected of a click-fraud and worse it might led to your account being suspended.

If ever you caught yourself accidentally clicking on your ads, contact Google Straight away, this invalid click form tells Google team your situation and of course providing them with the relevant information on the time and date of your click is important.

Prevent yourself from accidentally clicking on your own ads

Firefox-GreaseMonkey Adsense Prevention
This script was developed by Michael Hampton and in order to implement it, you require Firefox browser and greasemonkey to apply the script. Installing the script is a breeze and it will popup with a box to ask for your Adsense ID which can be found on your adsense account or you can "right click on your blog" --> "View Source" --> "Look out for your google adsense code and find this code PUB-XXXXXXX".

The Preventive Measures
Amit Agarwal of Labnol suggested these 4 precautions to take before testing your Google ads:

1. Instead of using Adsense code, add a static graphic (jpg image) with the same dimesions as your adsense code. (Google itself provides static images of various ad formats.)

2. Modify the value of google_ad_client to something like "pub-googleIamTesting"

3. Add another line to Google Adsense code google_adtest = "on"; Don't forget the semicolon.

4. Though there is no official comment, it is safer to remove the google_ad_channel variable.

Pay to guard yourself from Clicking
Ksoft developed Senseguard which claims to be able to protect your adsense account from You! Accidentally clicks happens all the time, its just a matter or when and how it is going to happen. Senseguard works by temporarily hiding all Adsense ads in your web browser.

It's technique is confirmed to be safe to use by the Google Adsense team. You can do a demo trial for free but if you decide on using the full version be prepared to fork out $19.95 for this software utility.

Now you have the list, what can you do to further explore the chances of making big money with adsense. If you have interest in those topics which you think you can write great articles on, go on and show everyone.

If you want to write about "secured Loans" which is the highest paid keyword. Make sure you do these following and you will be on your way to your first click with Adsense.

• Make sure you build a website or blog on a dot com, make yourself look more professional
  
  
• Go to Wordtracker and niche a few keywords which you would like to rank first in Google. I will recommend another tool if you are on firefox, add seoquake to discover other sites Page Rank,Alexa Traffic Rank and gauge whether is it worth competing for this keyword.
  
  You see 6 sites ranking with PR5/6 on the first page already and you are only on PR 0-2 then you might want to consider switching to another keyword to get your site on the first page of Google/Yahoo.
  
  
• Ensure you have submitted your site to the major search engine so that they can crawl on your site and rank you.
  
  
• Use Adwords to increase your Adsense revenue.

When there is interest boiling in your search term "secured loans", people tend to get curious and when they see your ad strikes keywords which they are looking for, they will generate revenue for you, in the mean time your readers gets what they want.

22 Mistakes that you never would have known could violate Google Adsense

Google Adsense is an idiot proof money making program that allows you to places contextual ads on your website or blog. One thing for sure Google is no idiot, there have set a very strict rules and regualation which you got to follow or get eliminated, it's sounds like some reality show, but the fact is not everyone will compile to the terms of services which they should have read when they apply for adsense.

This may seems like some donkey years information but many people are still breaking the rules yet they blame Google adsense for giving them the boot out of the program. To stay with adsense, you got to play along with the rules and the rules are not meant to be broken with Google. Common Mistakes are always made by people, while they want to hitch a fast ride to making money, but it will never work! Be Internet smart and avoid these common mistakes which will violate Google Adsense.

1. Never Click your own ads in whatever way
Coincidentally this is number 1, because i want to tell you 70% of why google adsense ban you is because you either tried to be fun to test the system by clicking on your own ads or you gave an accidental click on your site. For those who tried to test the system, good luck, as for those who gave an accidental click, there is a way to help you not get ban, give google adsense a courtesy mail and tell them you accidentally click on your own ads and they will help you in some ways. Remember how you own up when you did something wrong, your parents forgive you.

2. Do not place more than 3 ad units and 3 ad links or 2 adsense search boxes on any blog
Google gives a maximum of 3 ad units and links with 2 search boxes to be placed on 1 full page, even if you place a fourth ad, it will never appear on your page so don't worry, once you busted the limit, it will not show, a safe pre-cautious that Google implemented.

3. Never Change or implement new codes in your adsense
When you have configured your adsense code, make sure you do not meddle with the script nor the ads codes. The only code that you may change are the color and banner size code, again i warn those who are not proficient in HTML to not try this, go back to the product and reset the configurations.

4. Open 1 Account for 10 websites
If you have 10 websites which you want to use Adsense, then 1 account is sufficient, there is no requirement for you to open another 10 more, even with 10 more a small mistakes can land all your accounts into the "publisher burying sections".

5. Do not disclosure your secrets
This happens when you are showing off your Google adsense income report. You should always remember that you are only allowed to show the earnings column, cause adsense is sensitive on issues with showing your CTR and impressions.

6. Give labels like sponsors or advertisements only
Do not misled your ads to your audiences, that is one of Google's principle, place labels like Sponsors, advertisements are fine but not "Click here for more" or "Great offers". Don't get banned by Google for such acts.

7. Never let your ads launch in a new browser
It is not advisable for your to change the coding in the first place and by adding a code like target ing ads to open in a new browser is against the TOS.

8. Do not run competitive contextual text ads or search services on the same blog
It is not advisable for you to run same contextual text ads services in on page, and Google only allows alternate services like auctionads , chitika or yahoo ads provided the ads do not resemble Adsense ads.Never try to create link structures resembling the adsense ads.

9. Never put images with Adsense ads
Images and ads will be a good attraction for others to click on your irrelevant ads, which Google dismay, and they only allow placing images with ads if there is a clear cut border between the ads and the images, otherwise it is against their TOS.

10. Do not join click farms that provide you click on your ads
They claimed that they’ll deliver clicks to your ads and all you do is to join and pay them by certain amount. Always keep in mind that using such methods to earn your clicks is highly prohibited. Don't pay money for things that don't return

11. Using 3rd party programs to improves impressions
Like how you should never use Click ads program, you should not use autosurf or paid surfing program to increase your impressions with Google, this will get you out of adsense program.

12. Be cautious where you place your ads with non contents pages
Placing ads in error pages, thank you or pages that have no contents but just ads and a sentence of word is not allowed. Chances are Google would have noticed of such activities and would ban you when the time is right.

13. Don't stuff all your keywords in one article
Experts tells you to stuff keywords in one article, Google tells you not too. Who should you believe, the expert or Google who is paying you money for their ads. Writing a well contented article is what you should be looking out for and planting keywords of your choice would be advisable to hit targeted ads but avoid stuffing too much keywords, this might alarm Google to visit you when time comes.

14. Encouraging Clicks
It is not advisable that you encourage others to click on your ads, sentences like "click on mine ads and i will click on yours" or "click on my ads to discover more" is all prohibited and can cause your adsense account to be disabled.

15. Pop-up or pop-under ads are not allowed to work with adsense
Adsense discourages having both their ads with pop-up or pop-under ads from external services.

16. Do not use MFA Templates and AdSense Arbitrage
Don't buy MFA(Made for adsense) Templates! Google have been banning accounts who used them since June 21st 2007. You basically earn lots of money with this adsense arbitrage method by navigating ads to get to where you want to view the content, the site owner might be happy but Google have since had enough and placed a stop to such acts.

17. 3 Referral Button and no more
Like the ads which have a maximum of 3, referral buttons can only have a maximum of 3 and recently they added a new feature which is the referral 2.0 which you can chose different referral product and have it as text links who looks like your normal content ads.

18. Never send your adsense ads out through email
If you are one of those who are trying to outsmart google, they beat you first. Using HTML emails and delivering your adsense is not going to work, it might just give you a slap on your own face and prepare for your adsense to be closed in the next few days.

19. Don't place adsense ads as your alternate ads
When you display adsense in that fix place, you are not allowed to place alternate ads to overwrite adsense ads. If you need to place alternate ads, adsense does have a function to allow you to directly place in alternate ads instead of using their PSA.

20. Do not use directive methods to lure clicks
While placing images with borders to separate ads is not a problem, having images like arrows or other graphical gimmicks that directs others to click is also not allowed.

21. Ensure you are language supported
Presenting irrelevant ads on other languages is also not allowed so make sure your ads actually supports these languages “Chinese (simplified), Japanese, Danish, Korean, Dutch, Norwegian, English, Polish, Finnish, Portuguese, French, Russian, German, Spanish, Hungarian, Swedish, Italian and Turkish”. Do not use adsense if your language is not stated here.

22. Do not mask your adsense ads
While blending your ads with your content is one of the way you can improve your earnings, take note that Google does not allow you to blend the color of the url with the background. Do not hide away relevant components that are shown by Google.

Implementing of Section Targeting on your Adsense

I was reading through the Google Adsense Help Center to draw out better ways of enhancing my ads placements and found this interesting topic on "How ads are being targeted with section targeting".

First we must come to understand what does section targeting means to us and how effective can this work to optimize the ads for our readers. Section targeting is when you want to have Text/HTML being suggested to be matching your ads content. This will help to greatly improve the way your ads response and match the information provided by you on your targeted ads.

How do i implement such a code on my blog?
To be able to efficiently use this tag along with your post, i will recommend those who are familiar with HTML attempt to implement section targeting, though its a simple tagging code.

The HTML tags to emphasize a page section take the following format:

<!-- google_ad_section_end -->

You can also designate sections you'd like to have ignored by adding a (weight=ignore) to the starting tag:

<!-- google_ad_section_start(weight=ignore) -->

With these tags added to your HTML code, your final code may look like the following:

<!-- google_ad_section_start -->

This is the text of your webpage. Most of your content resides here.

Please take note that it takes around 2 weeks for the Google crawlers to take into account any changes you've made to your site. To ensure that section targeting is being implement properly, you'll need to include a significant amount of content within the section targeting tags.

Google Adsense highest paid keywords does not work anymore

You probably would have searched a list of high paying keywords and used them on your site to achieve maximum relevant ads displayed so that you get maximum payout rate. What may seem to be the highest paid keyword is not really the deal.

The fact that many people are having the wrong idea of placing high paid keywords into their blog which don't seem relevant at all. If you blog about Pets and if you suddenly talk about Personal injuries because they pay you a higher keyword rate then, you might have lost enough traffic and click as the days go by.

I was very curious about these highest paid keywords, and i personally had fell into this trap, in 2005 before i started to blog on making money online, i started a blog named 'EngineBlock.blogspot.com' and i used the highest paying keywords i can find to fit on both my meta keywords and also my contents such as online car insurances,car accident attorney,free online auto insurance quote,free car insurance quotes, loans and etc.

All these keywords are more than $30 per click but my blog lasted for 4 months before everything ended, why is that so,I will tell you why it's not going to work out for you even if i give you tons of great paid keywords.

Mesothelioma ranks number one as the most expensive keyword for the past few years and it always hits the top 10 list twice with "mesothelioma" as a keyword, so why are they priced with such a heavy tag. "Mesothelioma is a form of cancer that is almost always caused by previous exposure to asbestos."
This can means a law suit case which eventually involve tens of thousands so people are willing to advertise at a high price. It could be another reason but no one seems to have got the correct answer to why they are the most expensive keyword.

Why placing high paid keywords will not work for an average joe
If you want to make this high paid keyword work on your blog, then make sure you have a vast knowledge on what you are writing and make sure you offer professional consulting help online. Don't make a fool of yourself and start blogging what mesothelioma is all about by copying articles from other sites who are actual professionals offering help to the needy people and not know what it actually means.

Why people who blog about mesothelioma will not put ads
Come on these guys are professional lawyer who make millions a year, would a lawyer want such revenues or would they want to attract more customers so that they can charge on consultation fees, which is more relevant and if you search on "mesothelioma blog" on google, you will notice that most of the links don't show ads on their site.

Pursuing your passion rather than trying your luck
Be who you are and live your passion to write on things you are good at. Trust me eventually what you love to write on with continue and it by the time you track back when you started blogging, you will be amazed you have done it for 5 years already! Never start a blog without knowing what you are writing about, because it will end there like how i closed "Engineblock.blogspot.com" in 4 months time because i don't have anymore topics to write on, slowly the traffic will decline and automatically your blog is pronounced dead!

Leverage your adsense placement for higher revenue
There are tons of ways to leverage Adsense and also every new users would want to know where they can optimize the best placement for their ads. There is no right on wrong, but placing ads within the contents seems to be the most efficient so you may want to try having them on your contents and after a month notice the difference and try other ads size if you wish to and experiment.

Why Google Adsense targets every internet users

I received an email from this guy Derek Cheng, who was asking me how to get his Adsense working on his blog, but refuses to tell me the blog address and i respected him,though i am not sure why he was so relucant but i did give him the solutions as to how set up his Adsense properly before placing the code to his blog. The fact is adsense is simple to understand and use!

Adsense is one of the easiest PPC program you can actually signup for and make money out of it though many bloggers like John Chow and Problogger(Darren Rowse) who have given them up on their blog and even made comments that Adsense don't make as much money as sponsors do. They have their point there, but the question is are you getting that sort of traffic per day to even think about getting sponsors to monetize your blog?

Google Adsense Made for the young and Old
Google Adsense are for everyone, regardless whether you are a newbie or a pro blogger with vast experiences, Adsense can make you money. It is very simple to apply for an account and all you need to do is signup and start to generate revenue from Adsense.

Many says Adsense don't make money so i follow
There are tons of ways to make money online and using Adsense is just one of the many. They can be many reasons why bloggers say they are not making money with Adsense.

• They expect to make $1/day when their blog is not even 1 month old
• They expect to make $100/mth when they have less than 1000 visitors per month
• They are not making as much as John chow so they give up on Adsense
• They do invalid clicks and got ban so they say Adsense don't make money
• They don't even have an Adsense account but they say they don't make money

The fact is these are what others say, have you tried it for yourself and be convinced that they don't work for you? If they serious don't work for you, then change to another PayPerClick Program, like i say there are many alternatives out there. Try every program and see which suits you.

Getting started with Adsense
There are 3 products you can choose, Adsense Content,Adsense Search and Referral. I will touch on the adsense content portion since its what many users are looking for how to get it setup.

Under "Adsense Setup" click on "Adsense for content"



There are 2 types of ads available for you to chose, "Ad Unit" which allows you to choose whether you want to have Text and images ads or just purely Text Ads/Images Ads only.
The "Link Unit" are in text ads and they look like navigation links, i will have this explained further later.

Standard Ads Unit
These are the ads formats that you can chose from and there are many variety from this list, lets go straight to the what you need to do to get the best ad placement out of so many choices.

Google have done a survey and found out that their most effective ads placements are 336x280 Large Rectangle, 300x250 Inline Rectangle and 160x600 wide skyscraper. Personally i am using a 300x250 inline rectangle and it seems to be working well.Learn to place them in Google Heatmap zones so that valid and effective clicks can be created.


Link Unit
Remember i talked about the link unit resembling like your navigations? These link units can be created and each link unit displays a list of topics relevant to the content of your site, and when users click on one of these topics, they're brought to a page of AdWords ads related to that topic.Link units are particularly effective for more focused content, where visitors tend to be seeking specific information. I personally use a horizontal Link Unit, You got to see which suits your site.





Colors
You can create a range of colors which blends the ads into your blog. Try avoiding borders cause they look unnatural on your blog.

Corner Style
Recently Google added another rounded style which is good if you have a site designed with rounded borders around otherwise recommendation to stick with the square corners.

Adding Channels
Why do we need to add channels? It is to track the number of impressions and clicks you receive on that channel. basically if you have many ads format on one site or maybe you have 3 sites and you would like to keep track of your CTR then it is best to have channels for individual ads unit. It allows you to keep track and know which ads are doing well on your site.

Google Adsense code implementation on your site
This will be the example of a Adsense code that you can add on your blog.

• Google client - The xxxxx is represented by numbers and its an identification number that it is your ads.
• Google Width/Height/format/type/channel - these are the pre setting that you have done before hand

Make sure you do not modify the java script, please read the Adsense TOS and Adsense Policies.

Allowing your Adsense to be placed in your XML script
This problem arise and was solved sometime back when you copy the entire code and could not have it placed in your XML script.You would be required to change these 2 code.

See the one highlighted in red, change the code to the one which i have given you, this code allows the script to read it as < and same for the bottom one, that code would allow the script to read it as >

For Ads unit and Link Unit, you can have a maximum of 3 ads each in 1 page. 3 standard ads unit and 3 Link unit.

Sad to say, as a Blogger user i do not get the chance to use this since no one have created a widget out of it, and only Wordpress users have this plugin that can track the number of readers commenting.

I would love to create my own Top Commentor Widget but it seems i ran out of luck as to where i can start doing one, i need to source for someone who is good in this, all we can do is use the Blogger's Wishlist and without the Top commentor's Widget, this maybe why many readers are not leaving comments because there is nothing to show how much they have put in their effort to leave comments and be recognized by any means.
