I have always loved to use social media marketing to add a little traffic juice to my blog, i also notice that more and more emails have been sent out over these past few months ever since my little report card i wrote on how you can boost your traffic with some of stumbleupon's untold secrets, this is a 14-page report which is free for download.

Instead of writing about what Social Media Marketing(SMM) and Social Media Optimization(SMO) is all about and repeating what experts in this field had said, I had done my own compilation over time stumbling and reading across some of the best works from other social media authority bloggers, i think i should direct you to their article and let them be the one addressing the points on how you can make both SMM and SMO work for you.

Stumbleupon
I am a stumblers myself more than a digger, this i got to admit because stumbling seems much simpler and guarantees you traffic even without a huge number of votes and Stumbleupon can send you crazy traffic, while the traffic gained is not as much as what Digg provides, i am sure everyone's wish is to see their blog gain 2 things 'Traffic', 'Loyal Readers'. One of the quickest way to get traffic is using Stumbleupon but one thing you need to keep in mind is the fire loses it's flame when it does not have oxygen. Maintaining votes by top stumblers is the key to success in stumbleupon.
